Theme & Variations is hosting a music appreciation course for adults, perfect for concert goers who would like a little more specialist knowledge up their sleeve. The course will take you on a musical journey through time by listening and discussing various eras where the socio-economic and political circumstances have influenced the music that was written. Enjoy wine and cheese complimentary of Theme Variations while learning from experienced educator, Beverly Katz, B.A. Hons (Lit), UED (Dip Ed), LTCL (Teaching), UPLM (Performing). She has particular interest in technique, musicality and the power of focus and listening. She has much success with adults and also teaches Theory Musicianship. Beverly has taught and been an accompanist at many schools in Sydney. She now works from her private studio in Double Bay. |
