Each year at Theme and Variations Piano Services we present the Emerging Artists piano series. These are based in our Sydney showroom at 451 Willoughby Road, Willoughby. In this program we aim to showcase talented young pianists, to give them the opportunity to perform to a welcoming and appreciative audience.
Venue: 451 Willoughby Road, Willoughby, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia
Bookings: Free – general admission. We appreciate your early booking as seating is limited
As in previous years, Professor Michael Brimer will be present at all the concerts, assessing the performances. At the final winners’ recital he will present to us the ultimate junior and senior winner of the series. The senior, tertiary institution student will be awarded the opportunity to perform in 2015 in an exchange program with the NZ based Lewis Eady Steinway dealership, in Auckland, New Zealand.
We have invited the heads of keyboard studies in schools and universities to nominate their most promising students to participate in our series. In each of the three concerts, one junior pianist and one senior pianist will be asked to perform for a maximum of thirty minutes.
