The Year of the Horse in the Chinese Zodiac Calendar begins on January 31, 2014 and ends on February 18, 2015. 


In Chinese culture, the Horse is a symbol of nobility, class, speed and perseverance.  Horses provided people quick transportation before automobiles were invented. Horses helped in time of battle and is a symbol of travel, competition and victory. The horse is connected to speedy success in Chinese circles.
