DECLASSIFIED MUSIC

Formed in 2011, the CRCMS was committed to bringing first-rate classical small ensemble music to the Brisbane community in a way that was intimate and exciting.  Featured were chamber music concerts, workshops, emerging artist recitals, and presentations.

As from March 2013, the CRCMS has been rebranded to indicate its growth from the classical chamber music series to a series that will still offer the finest classical chamber music in addition to the best Australian jazz, contemporary instrumental music, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

2013 is a very exciting year for DCM.   Starting with To Haydn’s Princesses in April, heading into July with The Long Weekender presented by Queensland Music Festival, and going out with a bang on October 4th with Sonya Lifschitz and her crew in Chamber Music Re-imaginings.
