Foundation for Young Pianists

The sincere generosity and caring support that partners Ara and Nyree Vartoukian has shown to the musical community of NSW (and more recently in Queensland) has helped to nurture a large musical family of friends, musicians, teachers and clients who all benefit from and enjoy T&V’s concerts, master classes, social functions and educational events. As active and involved members of the musical community, T&V sponsor many local and national orchestras, ensembles, music festivals and individual musicians.

T&V also nurture the development of young pianists by giving opportunities to perform at private concerts, providing practice space, helping with piano needs and sponsoring eisteddfods and youth competitions by giving students the opportunity to play on concert-standard instruments.

Because of their constant support of young people in the arts, Ara and Nyree decided to form a Foundation for Young Pianists. The Foundation is still in its initial birth stages, but it is envisaged that it will be launched mid 2010 to continue the activities that Theme & Variations has always found important in support of the Arts Community.
