It is once again time for the walls of the Sydney Conservatorium to pulse with that powerful distillation of chamber music that is the Musica Viva Festival. Held over four days, the six major concerts will see some of the world’s most exciting musicians come together to showcase a veritable cornucopia of chamber music, performing great classics and new musical works alike.
The 2019 Festival also features some exceptional ensembles from Musica Viva’s national education program, providing holiday activities for children and genial entertainment for festival patrons.
